Ina Garten is a well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. After initially finding the job fascinating and intellectually stimulating but she quickly became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. It took her nearly 18 years to make the shop hugely successful, and then sold it. After that, she started writing the first of many cookbooks. Many magazines and cookbooks were later published. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't been employed in restaurants. She is self-taught. She's known for her easygoing way of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include easy recipes like Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
