Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) Her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's initial TV roles. Fearing stress, her parents did not want to see her pursue acting before she reached the age of age 18. Perry she was shy for acting in school, began performing at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry started her acting career in New York after graduation, getting small role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homesickness led to Perry come back to California and find work as a stage actress. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway with her for the play The Other Place, in 2013. She appeared in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was presented at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry was featured nine times on The Family, an ABC drama The Family, in 2016. Her father played her character in her role on the ABC show Scandal. The actress also portrayed the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - an CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The role was offered to her in an audition that was open despite being a fan of this persona.
